The housing crisis has made homeownership increasingly out of reach—rising rents, limited supply, and outdated zoning laws have pushed people out of the neighborhoods they love. Villa saw an opportunity in what others overlooked: the backyard. Their vision was to unlock underutilized space to solve for modern housing needs with stylish, efficient accessory dwelling units (ADUs).
